Twin Lakes Camp in Peru – Day 1

Wow, what a day! The Lord provided beautiful weather, excited kids, and an energetic and loving camp staff for our first day of camp. There were about 115 children including 90 from our parishes, 10 from the orphanage in town and our missionary kids. They enjoyed horses, “super-fun games”, archery, ice cream, inflatable slides (which some of the adults enjoyed too:-), great music, clowns and a wonderful gospel message from Pastor Paul Nasekos. His talk was about Jesus the good shepherd, he even had a live sheep to assist him!

Even after a long hot day of fun in the sun with over 100 kids, the Twin Lakes staff still had energy to go the the Pacific Ocean and play some! For more pictures of today’s fun, go here.
